WHAT MAKES BUYING WINE FROM JADED PALATES DIFFERENT?

Our mission is to refresh palates jaded by the ordinary. We do this by appealing to the senses; we source amazing products from unusual places and broaden our clients’ experiential horizons. We aim for Quality, Value, Unusualness and the Personal Touch in everything we do.

The curious case of GIN!

Whilst wine still remains our first passion here at Jaded Palates, the staggering national popularity of Gin and Craft Beers has not passed us by. Devon and Cornwall are awash with fantastic Gin and Beer producers and we're more than happy to showcase the very best of what's available from here in the South West. Our Beer selection is only available in store at present but our Gins on the other hand, are right here...

Papillon Gin

Ripe exotic fruits, spices and generous length

The Lebanon may be considered an inhospitable place to visit currently (and very sadly), but it remains an ideal location to produce wines: dry, warm and moderated by the Mediterranean. Indeed, wine-making in the Levant goes back centuries. But this is a modern outfit, with some serious French heft behind it: the Brunier family of Vieux Telegraphe in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, and Dominique Hebrand formerly of Cheval Blanc. This is their entry-level version, and very fine it is too: plenty of fruit and body, but with a serious backbone behind it as well.
