INFO: In Situ is a “terroir” project by the family-owned Vina San Esteban winery, meaning they have carefully selected certain plots of land which have large variations between day and night temperatures to enhance balance. Their signature range is unusual, unfiltered blends of varietals very rarely seen anywhere, except, perhaps, in this case, Tuscany. Cabernet can dominate any blend with its bold fruit flavours, but the Sangiovese does an amazing job here of adding finesse and other flavours.
