INFO: La Loupe is a very approachable, fruit-driven red made from Grenache, grown in the Mediterranean vineyards of the Languedoc. The heat and drying winds keep yields low allowing for concentrated fruit. Effective extraction from the grapes and use of steel tanks helps to preserve the fresh fruit flavours in the final wine. The nose has full impact with a complex mix of juicy ripe red fruits typical of the Languedoc and hints of pepper and herbal scents. On the palate red fruit such as cherry, strawberry and redcurrant continue to persist in a nice smooth and round mouth-filling texture.
