INFO:
Central Anatolia is a region within Turkey, itself once part of the greater region of classical Anatolia, long considered the real birthplace of wine itself. Indeed Homer first writes of Ionian wines in his Iliad. Luckily for wine-lovers, they have mostly eschewed the very widely prevelant major varieties to continue to produce wines from their own native grapes, Okuzgozu being one of the premium red varieties. Startling fruitiness with exotic spices and refreshing menthol.
