INFO: A superb offering from Cave de Cairanne, this Vacqueryas has the perfect mix of vibrant fruit character and rich complexity. Organically farmed and hand harvested, the wine sees an extended fermentation time to extract as much character from the fruit as possible. Lees aging and spending 2-3 years in concrete vats brings a roundness and volume of the wine while retaining its great aromatic expression and beautiful freshness. Elegant on the nose with notes of blackberry, blackcurrants and plums, the palate follows through with delicate tannins and subtle perfumed notes of violets.
